Welcome to the Forward Intellect Blog

Without trying to sound like all the other MSP’s out there (yes, I know, I already just did!). I plan to use this forum to provide some insights into what we do and what we have done for clients, but part of my personal goal is to start several discussions around the role we each play in the evolving world of Cyberwarming. What do I mean by “CyberWarming”? Well the world has been smacked in the face by what we have all come to know as “cyber” attacks, but since this started, it has pretty much followed the same process and with the same result. The attackers find a weakness, or someone on the inside creates one, followed by the victimization and exploitation of the business or person. What I strongly believe is, due to the absolute lack of a real response, these attackers have now had time to evolve and grow their toolset – including their marketing campaigns.

What do you think is the next realm for these attackers? When they step up their game and begin to take on work from the extremist and terrorist groups and begin to attack self driving cars, nuclear power, water and other facilities, thats already here! What about the ever increasing home technologies that are dependent on the internet and have voice response systems built in, that to is already a problem. Imagine being woke up in the middle of the night by a terrorist statement or your car taking you to a bridge and driving over the edge?

Now ask yourself, have you done enough to protect your technology in the office, at home or on your cellphone?  Something I want to discuss and get your input on is untouched attack vectors that you are worried about and any thoughts about protecting them without heavy IT lifting.

I believe the best option is to take a strong first step, I hope to get your feedback on our various polls and discussions to better understand what our followers feel strong about and invite any industry experts to also jump in.
